Paths, Litter-picking and Pond Site Prep...
Saturday 29 July 2023
10:00 to 12:00
This Week
We’ll be getting some more fresh air and exercise on site again on Saturday morning. Come and join us - do as much (or as little) as you wish! This week we’ll be:
-
Continuing to tackle the trailing brambles, and long grasses where they stray across paths
-
Wildlife recording - as always! If anyone wants a crash course on the Inaturalist App, let me know!
-
More site prep for the new ponds
-
…and of course clearing any litter.
WHEN: From 10am SATURDAY (29th July) until around midday.
WHERE: Meet at the goalpost, rear of David Lloyd as usual. Over to David Lloyd for free tea/coffee or cold drinks at around 12.
WHO: Anyone and everyone. As always, please bring some protective gloves, sensible footwear, sunscreen, drinking water etc. and children must be accompanied.
WHAT: We provide the litter-pickers/bags as always, and as many tools as I can barrow, but if you have your own secateurs, rake, strimmer or hedge trimmer (battery), please do bring them along.
Don’t forget, you can subscribe to the Hampton Heath Friends calendar for up to date information in your Outlook or Calendar app. and we have further information on our website.
Hope to see you on SATURDAY!
