ORGANISED THIS WEEKEND – on Hampton Heath
This prolonged drought is taking a toll on the wildlife and flora, but as the vegetation has died back in response, we are presented with an amazing opportunity. Let’s use the drought to our advantage and clear as much of the old, historic rubbish exposed by the drought as possible.
WHEN: 10am Saturday morning
WHERE: Meet at the goalpost, rear of David Lloyd as usual
WHO: Anyone and everyone. As always, please bring some protective gloves, sensible footwear, sunscreen, water etc. and children must be accompanied.
WHAT: Again, we’ll focus on litter-picking (we provide the litter-pickers/bags), and (depending on numbers/energy levels) maybe tackle some of the spreading scrub.
Hope to see you on Saturday!
